Unlike other products, which were developed on ad-hoc basis, the development of i-Learning is spearheaded by Prof Dr Hanafi Atan of Universiti Sains Malaysia and developed in systematic way following the standard and accepted instructional design principles.

Prof Dr Hanafi is a professor in e-learning and has contributed his expertise not only in USM but also at national level. He is currently the chairman of the e-learning council of Malaysian public universities e-learning coordinator for 2014-2016.
